Description

Easy Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers are a deliciously satisfying twist on the classic cheesesteak, combining tender steak, caramelized onions, and gooey provolone cheese stuffed into vibrant bell peppers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium bell peppers (any color)
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 1 medium sweet onion, diced
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds. Set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil, sauté onions and mushrooms until tender (about 5 minutes). Add steak and garlic powder; cook until meat is browned.
  4. Stuff each bell pepper with the steak mixture and top with provolone cheese.
  5. Place stuffed peppers upright in the baking dish, cover loosely with foil, and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil for the last 5 minutes to melt cheese.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
